We are very fortunate to live in a time of great medical advancements and technology. In my life, I have greatly benefited from such advancements and the years of research by dedicated scientists. I thank God for everyone who works in the health care industry - the doctors, surgeons, nurses, researchers, pharmacist, people who draw blood, people who test blood and even the people who clean up the blood. I thank God for nephrologists, cardiologists, head- ologists, foot-ologists and every ologist in between. But despite the vast number of health care professionals in this world and all of their amazing knowledge, I know the only physician needed on my HMO plan is “The Great Physician.”
God, Our Great Physician, has written us the most perfect prescription ever made available to mankind capable of completely healing us of whatever ails us physically, mentally and spiritually. The name of this amazing prescription? Jesus Christ.
“But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5.
God’s perfect prescription can not only heal us of our diseases giving us a better quality of life here on earth but can also heal us of our sins giving us a glorious eternal life in His Heavenly Kingdom. What is so incredible about this amazing prescription is that it is accessible to everyone and dispensed free of charge with no co-payments or deductibles needed.
As children of God, It is our responsibility to become “eternal-health” insurance agents here on earth to our lost brothers and sisters making sure that their Blue Cross Health plan is revitalized with the Red Cross "eternal health" plan of our savior Jesus Christ who shed His own blood to heal us of our sins. Once we come to the cross, confess and repent our sins, our "eternal health" insurance premiums will be paid in full and no matter what the symptoms, diagnosis or outcome, we can rejoice knowing we can make a claim against our Red Cross policy, and be assured of everlasting peace and health.
